Great Balls of FireGreat Balls of Fire iris is a bold two tone orange iris. Eye catching in a clump in the garden or in a bouquet with 38 stems. 8 9 buds on 3 branches. It has some softer yellow tones on the fall petals along with bright orange and an orange beard. This variety blooms near the end of June here on our zone 3 farm. This variety is listed as non fragrant, however, I smell a subtle slight sweet fragrance to this one

Pink Pearl is aptly named with is perfect rounded form and pearl blush colouring

The 4" blooms are atop of thick stems which help prevent wind damage on this 4' plant

This is one of the first dahlias to bloom in my garden and it always makes me feel like a tropical summer is coming

The deep yellow center is surrounded by white ruffled collar petals that are a little larger than most collarette varieties
