Antique Victorian mourning pendant, hairwork, charmA sweet, tiny little antique gold plated mourning pendant or charm. Victorian era, it is gold plated in a circular shape with a lobed border. One side has a closed back and the other a tiny little glazed compartment enclosing a lock of dark blonde hair. The pendant has a tiny jump ring attached to hang from a bracelet or pendant. The hair is not plaited and is kind of messy inside the locket but it is still a very sweet piece. Condition: Good used

some light surface wear and signs of use commensurate with age

a repair to one side near the claw and this has caused discolouration to the end moonstone

Very Art Deco in its design it has a classic shape with a round foot and delicate line engraving on the handles
