SOLD........A striped Honiton / Branscombe? stick lace bobbin. 19thcA wooden lace bobbin from East Devon a Honiton stick. The wood is painted with black and red bands and dates to the 19th century. In excellent condition good colour and no damage. *It is slightly larger than is usual for Honitons at 9. 5cm so possibly a Branscombe stick. Stock no. GE42
A gold tooled
The back section of the purse is finished with a fringe of steel beads whilst the front has a tassel
The pearl is engraved with a flower spray on both sides of it and has a green silk spine and ties
An early pair of steel scissors in their Sheffield Plated scissor sheath
It is embossed on the base with the words-

Condition- The horn is in good condition

An interesting silk purse made up of two parts separated by an internal steel plate

It is stable however and they display well
