SOLD………..A very pretty 19thc hand painted porcelain thimble. c 1860An attractive white porcelain thimble hand painted with a red breasted bird ( a robin?) amongst flowers and foliage with a decorative gilt band top and bottom. Unmarked but likely to be early Worcester c1860. In excellent condition no damage and just one tiny loss to the gilding seen in photo number 2. Just under 2. 5cm in height finger aperture 14mm Stock no. R43

In excellent condition with no damage so they could be used

The brass is in excellent condition with no missing bits

In good condition with some tarnish and wear

The lid unscrews to access the scent and the base unscrews so the bottle can be taken out entirely

I suspect they would all have looked the same originally and the pattern has worn off through use

It is very good condition- no damage but with age related light pitting and linear marking in the varnished finish

A pair of bone razors patterned and with silver pique inlay

Inside it is lined in blue velvet so it probably contained a glass bottle originally and was taken home as a souvenir perhaps bought at the hotel illustrated
