SOLD…..A pearl topped waxer from a sewing box. c 1840-1860A thread waxer from a fitted sewing box which would have had matching reels, tape and emery. The carved pearl top unscrews from the bone base to allow for the wax to be replaced. c 1840 1860 In excellent condition bar a small chip on the end of the spindle where it screws into the base (see last photo) 2. 5cm high base diameter 22mm Diameter of the top 2. 5cm Stock no. The two tooled leather cases are stamped 'Ink' on the one and 'Light' on the other

An emery cushion mounted as a Tunbridge Ware kettle
The arms extend 12 cm from the frame and wrap around the ear
The lid lifts off and is now a loose fit
The eight counters are identical slices from the end of a block
The emery is all original
