Silvertone Number / Type 56 Vacuum Tube Globe Balloon Style Engraved / Hot-Stamped Base NOS-TestingThis new old stock testing Silvertone round plate type 56 triode was tested on our Paul Hart calibrated TV7 for shorts, gas and transconductance. There were no shorts or gas. It measured 60 where minimum (65%) is 37. It has a thin, hexagonal top mica spacer; rounded dark gray plates; a button thimble getter and excellent flashing. There is a crack in the base, but the bottle is firmly cemented to it and there is no movement at all possible. WE HAVE

I have played them in my Radio Craftsmen RC-2 monoblocks (with adapters -- not included) and they sound outstanding

48 and 55 where minimum (65%) is 36 and 100% is 55
