I make zoomorphic works which merge functionality with creative expression and draw inspiration from an array of ancient cultures reflects Fred. I want to produce furniture that can stand alone as a sculptural object but also be practical. They are rooted in a historic tradition and yet contemporary in their use of materials. The sheep are available in either a terracotta or

a playful reference to the pot shapes that resemble Napoleon’s famous bicorne hat

the piece is the result of a series of experiments where Jaclyn aimed to keep the making process – and resulting aesthetic – as organic as possible

while a dashed border grounds the more animated elements
