3.5x4 Antique Shahsavan Kilim Rug Fragment:: Fragmented from a larger carpet with restored end kilim plain weave. Repeating panels in diamond shape with crab design elements therein. A concentric diamond atop diamond motif with reciprocating halved medallions. Colors and shades include: Tangerine orange, wine red, mallard green, navy blue, indigo blue, jet black, purple brown, mauve, madder root red, pale saffron, beige, blush, and mustard yellow. Condition notes: Interior portion 1920s

One corner shows etching from moth

We have the original wiring to reconnect it as a lamp but there is no stand so it would have to be hung up as a hanging lamp

Plush pile with glossy like wool

Most notable unique character is found at either opposing end panels with elongated expressive cloudband designs and the disappearing tails thereof
