VALLETTA'S HEARTVALLETTA'S HEART The inspiration for this artwork was the memories of my trip to Malta. I made many sketches on the coast, among the narrow streets of the old city, near the walls of medieval castles and in market squares. Later, in my studio, I immersed myself in memories of this time and gradually transformed my impressions into images on canvas. I used vibrant colors and energetic strokes to reflect the variegated colors of this island. The
