Antique Ruby and Diamond ring, 18ct gold, EdwardianA beautiful antique, Edwardian era synthetic Ruby and Diamond ring in 18ct yellow gold. This beautiful ring is a boat head style ring with a gemstone set face. It is set to the centre with good sized round cut Ruby with two diamond chips either side and a further two rubies beside the diamonds. The rubies have a vibrant pinkish hue and the gold has that lovely rich old tone to it found only on antique pieces. It has decorative chevron engraved

Short hallmarks to the outer of the lid and full hallmarks to the inner rim

The 'chain' is made from tightly plaited black leather with gilt metal end caps and dog clip

It is a very decorative seal fob with a chased and engraved base and a cross shaped centre formed from tiny forget me not flowers

It has a yellow gold band which is fully hallmarked to the inner band and has a personal inscription engraved on the inner band: EH to RS
