Zygosicyos pubescens (Xerosicyos)Zygosicyos pubescens Also known as Xerosicyos pubescens. An attractive Madagascar caudiciform vine related to cucumbers. It long vines with tendrils. The caudex can become very large in time. The vines are evergreen if given proper care. Produces small yellow flowers in the summer. Likes water during the growing season (but don't keep it too wet). Keep dryer during hot spells. The leaves and vines are fine in full sun, but the caudex could get sunburn

Please note: the white color comes off VERY easily

Will form a clump in time

Then in late spring or early summer the leaves will die back and the plant will go dormant

Utricularia cornigera   A very attractive epiphytic species from Brazil with blue-green to light green curved leaves with purple petioles

in high light it turns beige to brown

It produces elongated leaves on stiff vines from a caudex

so I've giving it this provisional name

Fricii   A nice plant of this soft gray green species with pink flowers

The leaves are heart shaped and peltate (the leaf stalk appears in the middle of the leaf not the base)

Keep dryer in the winter and in very hot summer weather

but aren't full sun plants
