This does however need to develop better depth

This is a lovely combination of punch and finesse that has the underlying structure to amply reward up to a decade of cellaring

sweet and velvety medium-bodied flavors that possess fine intensity

licorice and gobs of sweet cherry fruit come out to play and this displays great balance

We were shocked when we got the analyses

it's pretty classic old-school Cabernet

Densely packed and sweeter in the early going than the En Chambertin

underbrush and a touch of animale that can also be found on the generous and quite fleshy flavors that possess excellent volume as well as buckets of dry extract that almost render the firm and ripe tannins invisible on the massively long finish

more refined with even better depth and persistence on the well-balanced if youthfully austere finale

it still shows the suppleness of the vintage

slightly austere tannins and very good length

Shows opulent aromas of raspberry and blackberry
