Suntory Kuromaru ShochuSUNTORY Kuromaru Shochu. Kuromaru, a premium Shochu, is manufactured under Suntorys supervision and specification, using sweet potato from Kagoshima ( famous Shochu production area). Kuromaru uses Kogane Sengan sweet potatoes from Kagoshima prefecture which are then carefully fermented using black koji malt from 100% pure Japanese rice.
