There is almost painful intensity to the beautifully delineated and mineral-driven broad-shouldered flavors that possess a highly refined textured before culminating in an almost crisp

This is close to its peak

This is a classic Nuits that is built-to-age and will need it

red fruits remaining

On the palate there is good size

torrefaction

with a sexy note of Asian spices adding lift

but much of that has been absorbed into the wine

there is just another dimension present here
