SOLD.......A little Painted Tunbridge Ware box . c1820A shallow Georgian box with a sliding lid decorated with a print of a coastal view on a painted panel. Inside it is lined with old pink paper and it contains two nibs made from quills. It would have been a souvenir probably from the Brighton area. The lids are loose as they would have had a cork backing but this has disintegrated on both with only one retaining the metal prongs which would have secured it

A set of 5 matching pearl reels from a Victorian sewing box with brass stems and bone bases

The pot has a screw on lid and is in good condition with its original varnished finish

c 1800-1820The original silk ribbon was shredded so has been replaced with pink silk ribbon which has been ink stamped in inches

These elegant scissors are in excellent condition with little sign of their age

The blade looks a little shorter than it should be and reshaped but the spring is still good

In fine condition

They have tiny petit guarantee marks for small silver

silvered stems and bone bases

Inside the original strawberry colour is evident as the silk lining has disintegrated
