It comes in its original box

A wooden thread winder painted with flowers on both sides

The silver mounts are unmarked

A spirally inscribed Victorian mutton bone lace bobbin with its original spangle

It has the built in holder for a single match to light you to bed in its lid and several old matches inside

A very useful pair of scissors of small size so suitable for a tool tray in a box or in a standing etui

A wooden handled seal chisel used to release the impressed wax seal on a document

The hall marks date it to Chester 1902 possibly by Charles Horner ( the maker's marks are indistinct because of the pattern but I think it is CH )

In excellent condition- no damage or filler

In excellent condition- the stones are the original with a gold tint when they catch the light but there's no real colour variation between the stones

A mid-19th century mutton bone lace bobbin drilled and coloured to spell out the phrase 'I wish to wed the lad I love'
