Las Choyas Crystal Geode with Smokey QuartzA beautiful Las Choyas geode pair that I have cracked open to reveal the sparkling smokey quartz crystals lining each half along with some manganese oxide formations. This is known as a brown rimmed coconut geode with the outer shell made up of a mineral called Siderite made up of a dark brown iron oxide. Each half is 3 1 2 across and the backs are intact. shipping and packaging is included in the price.

I found in the near shore split fish layer of fossil lake

It has a connected blue agate core

This one has solid star shaped core of dark agate with a small white center

This material is very old at a billion years plus

This is a specimen piece of Jasper from the Beers Mine near Rufus Oregon that I dug in August 2022

I have taken many hours to shape this piece into a  beautiful piece of art polished on the top and three sides with the back showing the original shape and texture of the piece

This is a beautiful pair of a polished Las Choyas solid agate geode from Mexico with strong bi- color blue agate fortification bands that have some parallax lines and a small druzy crystal pocket in the center

It is from the Richardson’s Ranch in Central Oregon and is approximately 2-3/4” x 2-1/2”

This is a specimen end cut piece fully polished on the face and weighs 8 oz

This Las Choyas geode half has beautifully fine light blue agate banding all the way to the center swirling around three darker areas making very interesting patterns
