An 18th century silver bodkin / ear spoon / pick. c1780.A chunky, silver bodkin ear spoon tooth pick. The point seems a little thick to use as a toothpick though. There are some old initials engraved on it MPC but not a maker's mark. c1780. 8cm long. In good condition. Stock no. LQ08
It looks just the same as a silver thimble of the period but has a steel core and is a small size 8
A turned mutton bone lace bobbin inscribed with the names Betsey Litchfield and Maryann Delley

In good condition- but please note the natural flaw in the pearl on the one side (see photo)
A soft ox blood leather case with a chrome mount and decorated with an Egyptian winged motif

The detailing on both pieces is very fine
( the joint was loose when acquired ) French c 1800
which incorporates a wax holder
An inscribed mutton bone lace bobbin inscribed horizontally in alternating red and black lettering- 'Love the Queen Victoria 1839'
