Rhipsalis capilliformis *Big Plants*Rhipsalis capilliformis A nice spineless hanging basket species that is green in low light and yellowish purple in high light. This is an epiphytic species from tropical regions so it does well in lower light than most desert species. Easy to grow. Likes more water and less light than most succulents. Protect from frost. You will receive a plant shown in the 4th image or one similar. Plants shown in a 6. 5" pot. Last image shows a mature plant.

The degree of redness seems to vary by light and temperature conditions and the reddest leaves are usually the older ones (no promises on how red yours will be if at all)

Stapeliads can be quite rot prone if kept too moist especially in the winter

This specimen is an otherwise normal plant that is starting to produce a crested stem

Unless you are a Euphorbia collector this doesn't matter

especially once it starts gaining some size

The plant is heavily covered in short spines (not that sharp)

The stems get tall and don't branch much

These spines are arranged in rows along the spines giving a nice look contrasted with the dark green body

This plant commonly drops its leaves when stressed then regrows them when conditions are good

Use a well draining mix and water when the soil is nearly dry
