Robert Bowyer, Moscow, 1816Robert Bowyer was a British painter and publisher who lived from 1758 to 1834. He is best known for his series of historical paintings entitled "Historical and Descriptive Account of the Caricatures of James Gillray", which were published in the early 19th century. Bowyer also painted a number of other subjects, including landscapes and cityscapes. One of his works is entitled "Moscow" and was completed in 1816. The painting depicts a panoramic view
