Rhodochrosite - Pink Lily

Rhodochrosite - Pink LilyRhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate mineral and is typically a rose red color, but impure specimens can be shades of pink with streaks of white. I mean, usually, you don't like impurities, but this time.. look how gorgeous the pattern turned out!! My daughter Hannah called this one Pink Lily!

This particular rough stone is from a Nevada mine and was purchased from a local dealer before Ben cut and polished it into this beautiful pendant

bumblebee jasper can be difficult to work with

and pale blush tones spread across the stone in sweeping crystal sprays

preserving its silky internal structure
