BonalgueThe 2014 Bonalgue has an intense bouquet with ripe black cherry and bilberry, a tang of iodine and sea spray, a complex set of aromatics that keeps drawing you in. The palate is medium bodied with crisp and quite firm tannins. I appreciate its edginess and the judicious pinch of spice upon the structured and slightly rigid finish. It will benefit from another year or two in bottle.
