Tingari Cycle 90 cm x 145 cmIn the early 1950s Ronnie & his family moved to Haasts Bluff and then on to Papunya. In 1975 Ronnie began to paint for the Papunya painting movement. In the early 1980s he moved to Walungurru where he has emerged as one of Papunya Tulas major artists Ronnie s art is a good representation of the characteristic Pintupi style: repetition of forms, simple & bold, and pigments which are often restricted to four basic colours of black,red, yellow & white.

Samantha is the daughter of Ruby Daniels Nangala and the granddaughter of Linda Syddick Napaltjarri

Samantha has been painting since 2005 and is proud to promote her culture through her artwork

then moved to Watiyawanu (Mt Liebig approx 325 km west of Alice Springs) and today still spends most of her time there with her well-known artist husband Norman Kelly
