Victorian Garnet Heart EarringsCharming Victorian heart earrings set with juicy garnet cabochons and silky white pearls. They're heart shaped in the old fashioned style (ie no cleft at the top), crafted in 9ct gold with foliate settings above the main, blood red stones. English, circa 1880. Era: Victorian, circa 1880 Size: 2. 0cm by 0. 9cm (not including the ear wire tops) Stones: Garnet (variety almandine pyrope) and Seed Pearls Marks: None, tested as 9ct gold Condition: Great
The pendant is formed from a rectangle cabochon of onyx
which creates a nice warm/cool tone contrast with the shoulders and yellow gold band
crafted in a gorgeous rosy 15ct gold
