Description
Tomatin 12 Year OldA 2016 replacement for the previous sherry finished expression, this Tomatin 12 Year Old has been aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. The result is a sweet whisky with notes of apples, citrus and sweet spice. Nose: Buttery at first, but notes of raisin and almond soon take over. Palate: Oak y vanilla and fresh mint, dotted with stem ginger and dried orange peel. Finish: Currant buns, a hint of raspberry jam, barley.
Old vines planted in clay and limestone soils which are cultivated with organic treatments and limiting production to 44 hl/ ha
