Starry (Stelate) Puffer (4-5")Arothron Stellatus The Starry Puffer, also known as the Stellate Puffer, has an orange body with dark spots. It can get very large (over 12"), so a large aquarium is needed. Also, like all puffers, it is a very messy eater, so effective protein skimming is essential. The Starry Puffer needs a varied diet of meaty foods including squid, krill, clams, and hard shelled shrimp to help wear down their ever growing teeth.
