Lidded Jar

Lidded JarA fine example of a large lidded store jar by Devon potter Clive Bowen. This is a magnificent piece of English Slipware which follows tradition but is also contemporary in its surface decoration. Clive Bowen is one of the UKs most respected potters and has been making for over fifty years. You will find his work in many international ceramics collections from here to Japan. These tiny bottles had a great firing as the glazes blending and melting into each other to create lovely tones of honey and dark chocolate

The scale is hard to imagine from the photo but the dimensions are 35cm wide x 20cm high

Ok in a dishwasher but I prefer hand washing
